There's a phrase I've been using when I hear people struggling with time/distractions: Life gets in the way of living.
We all get 24 hours a day. I struggle with Internet time (but spending most of my time reading blogs like B Coop's, Noble, Morgan, Furtick, Lamb, etc...you guys inspire me to become the best servant pastor I can be!)
Big hockey fan, so I'm watching lots of playoffs right now. Really want a Wings v. Canes Stanley Cup Final. Big Paul Maurice fan..he's a great community guy.
What's cool though is when I'm in the distractions, I'm sensing that they are distractions, and I'm being pulled towards more time worshiping God. He's working in me, and I pray He's doing the same in you.

I agree with all those you listed... one of the big things that I'm learning is to put my life on paper... a.k.a get organized.
I'm learning to prioritize relationships and the 1st one is the one with the Lord... and then my family and then my friends... to be honest right now, my family is before the Lord because of situations that are at hand,but I know that HE needs to be 1st and everything else will work it's way out!
Just writing that last statement has lifted a load off my shoulders... thanks for following the Holy Spirit with this post!

To be honest...me, myself and I get in the way. However, similar to what Mike said, God's allowed me to see decisions I could make. One of them would be living for myself and the other is living sold out for Him and that's been pretty sweet to be able to see and know that I am the one who makes the choices. I have a choice, live for myself or live for the Lord, I've found that the latter brings more joy :)

I rob myself by not creating and obeying my own boundaries. I rob myself by not thinking critically how today will affect tomorrow.
Daily I need/want to: love my wife, lead others, learn from others, workout, twitter, post blogs, read blogs, pray, read my Bible, be a steward of all God has given me, have a social life and scope out the next five years of my life.
Lately I have been trying simple things like not listening to the radio on my drive into work but pray. Workout with a friend to create accountability. Turn my phone off at night and on my day off. Take my sabbath day more serious. Understand that how I treat my home and vehicles is an act of worship.

- Non-work time on the internet - fashion magazines & blogs - too much time alone - movies and shows that I know I'm compromising to see - focusing on my glory instead of God's glory - letting fear drive instead of kicking it out of the car
