We all get 24 hours a day. I struggle with Internet time (but spending most of my time reading blogs like B Coop's, Noble, Morgan, Furtick, Lamb, etc...you guys inspire me to become the best servant pastor I can be!)
Big hockey fan, so I'm watching lots of playoffs right now. Really want a Wings v. Canes Stanley Cup Final. Big Paul Maurice fan..he's a great community guy.
What's cool though is when I'm in the distractions, I'm sensing that they are distractions, and I'm being pulled towards more time worshiping God. He's working in me, and I pray He's doing the same in you.
Blessings on your day!
I'm learning to prioritize relationships and the 1st one is the one with the Lord... and then my family and then my friends... to be honest right now, my family is before the Lord because of situations that are at hand, but I know that HE needs to be 1st and everything else will work it's way out!
Just writing that last statement has lifted a load off my shoulders... thanks for following the Holy Spirit with this post!
Daily I need/want to: love my wife, lead others, learn from others, workout, twitter, post blogs, read blogs, pray, read my Bible, be a steward of all God has given me, have a social life and scope out the next five years of my life.
Lately I have been trying simple things like not listening to the radio on my drive into work but pray. Workout with a friend to create accountability. Turn my phone off at night and on my day off. Take my sabbath day more serious. Understand that how I treat my home and vehicles is an act of worship.
searching my friends for peace when sometime they will fail me...
